ASTM Steel Grades

Common American (US) Steel Grades as per ASTM include grades 36, 32, 50, 55, 60, 65 and 70 for open sections (I Beams, T beam, Channels), which correspond to the yield strength of the steel in ksi (kilopounds per square inch). For closed sections (hollow sections), grades are presented in A, B, and C with Yield Strengths provided.

Ultimate Strengths are also available for all grades. Gravities have been converted to metric units as well (MPa).
