List of Eurocode Standards
The Eurocodes are a set of structural engineering standards maintained and written by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN). They are used by many countries, including all European Union countries and beyond.
Below is a complete list of all Eurocode engineering standards:
| Eurocode | Official Title | Purchase Links |
|---|---|---|
| EN 1990 | Eurocode 0: Basis of structural design | |
| EN 1991 | Eurocode 1: Actions on structures | |
| EN 1992 | Eurocode 2: Design of concrete structures | |
| EN 1993 | Eurocode 3: Design of steel structures | |
| EN 1994 | Eurocode 4: Design of composite steel and concrete structures | |
| EN 1995 | Eurocode 5: Design of timber structures | |
| EN 1996 | Eurocode 6: Design of masonry structures | |
| EN 1997 | Eurocode 7: Geotechnical design | |
| EN 1998 | Eurocode 8: Design of structures for earthquake resistance | |
| EN 1999 | Eurocode 9: Design of aluminium structures |

Countries that Use Eurocodes
European Union (EU) Member States
Eurocodes are mandatory for used across the European Union in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Croatia.
These countries have adopted Eurocodes as their national standards for strucutral engineering and many have developed national annexes to supplement the Eurocode provisions.
Non-EU European Countries
Several non-EU European countries also use Eurocodes. This list includes:
Non-EU European Countries (Full Eurocode Adoption)
- United Kingdom
- Norway
- Iceland
- Switzerland
Non-EU Countries (Partial/In Progress Adoption of Eurocodes)
- Albania
- Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Montenegro
- North Macedonia
- Serbia
- Turkey
- Ukraine
- Moldova
- Georgia
Outside Europe
- Singapore – Full adoption
- Malaysia – Partial adoption
- Vietnam – In progress of adoption
- Ethiopia – In progress of adoption
- Kenya – In progress of adoption
- Angola – In progress of adoption
- Mozambique – In progress of adoption
- Madagascar – In progress of adoption
- Greenland – In progress of adoption
- Kazakhstan – In progress of adoption
- Uzbekistan – In progress of adoption

National Annexes
Although the Eurocode Standards aim to provide a universal framework for structural design, each country defines its own rules, parameters, and safety factors in a National Annex. A list of national annexes and where to find them can be found here.
